Legacy Of Leadership: Remembering The Stalwart of Bihar  Growing up with my grandfather, I always had apprehensions about my roots in Bihar, a state then known for its corruption and autocracy. I disliked being called a Bihari, and in my family, it was extremely difficult for girls to have equal rights as boys. However, my mother stood up for us, ensuring we received equal educational opportunities. This shaped my negative perception of Bihar. Last month, I joined as a political consultant and met my reporting manager, who belongs to one of Bihar's greatest political families. He was offended by my negative image of Bihar and introduced me to a new perspective—one of intellect, heritage, and inclusivity.
